Grounds Management Association - Online Courses

(Grounds Management Association) offers an entirely-online Level 1 course which lasts a total of 4-5 hours across 3 modules covering:-

Requirements of the groundsperson and pitch
Pitch and player requirements
Introduction to Performance Quality Standards
Maintenance activities

Maintenance activities (Equipment and Machinery)
Types of equipment and machinery
Equipment and machinery settings
Safe use of equipment and machinery

Safe use and storage (Materials)
Storage and safe disposal
Types of material
Application and effects of incorrect use

The cost of the course is £25 (incl VAT) which the candidate will need to register and pay for the course (link here – you may need to create a GMA account if you don’t already have one).

This will be reimbursed to the club or individual as appropriate upon provision of the online course Certificate of Completion up to a total of 20 course places on a first come, first served basis.

The rebate is only available to primary affiliated Herefordshire clubs and individuals will need to register on the online course before 31st December 2020.
