Brockhampton Ready for the Cricket World Cup

The club have been awarded £1000 from the CWC fund to digitalise the club in readiness for an exciting season ahead which includes a home World Cup.

Tracey Denny said "Brockhampton CC are delighted to be awarded the CWC Grant of £1000, which will enable us to install a phone line to the club for broadband and Wi-Fi access. This will mean that our own and visiting scorers will be able to have a more efficient operating system for their online scoring, as well as the installation of a card reading machine in the clubhouse, meaning that we will be able provide a better service for club members and visitors to the ground. We would also hope, that on World Cup match days, and the subsequent Ashes series, people will also then be able to use the Wi-Fi connection to watch or listen to coverage on their mobile phones!
As a club, we are also looking forward to organising and hosting a World Cup Family night in June, as part of one of our coaching sessions. It is an exciting Summer for cricket.”
