Herefordshire Cricket Limited has arranged on Open meeting for all cricket clubs , coaches, umpires, scorers, volunteers, players etc One aim is to form a Herefordshire Cricket Development Group but also to get all clubs in the same room and to meet HCL , Minor Counties, ECB etc and to form a base for a Herefordshire Cricket Strategy.

Monday 27th February, 2017 arrive 7 pm for a 7.30 pm start
GWRSA (Railway Club) Barton Road, Hereford HR4 0AZ

The plan for the evening is

1. Welcome – Derek Ling - Chairman of Herefordshire Cricket – 5 mins
2. Introduction - HCL update and plan of the evening – Steve Watkins - Operations Director – 15 mins
3. HCCC update – Richard Prime – Chairman HCCC – 5 minutes
3. ECB Presentation – All Stars, Women, Girls, Back to Club – 30 minutes

4. Break Out Groups to discuss various topics – 1 hour (flipcharts and post its)
HCDG- Yes/No, Size, Meetings (2/3 pa) Representation, Nominations
League Cricket – start times, regionalisation, dual registration,
Senior Cricket – Outside of leagues – Sunday Friendlies, T20, 6/8 a side,
Junior Cricket – formats, competition
Women, Girls – more opportunities
Coaching, Umpires and Scorers – Qualification, Quality, Improvement
Recruiting Volunteers - how do we attract more people
Club Experience – meet and greet etc
