MCC Law Changes

In advance of the 2018 season we’re pleased to confirm ECB's recommended amendments for certain Law changes made by MCC in 2017.

These amendments concern the Law changes made to Bat Sizes, High Full Toss and on-field sanctions relating to player conduct.

We'd encourage those concerned to contact their Local County ACO to attend one of the Law familiarisation evenings that are currently underway for umpires.

You should also be aware that work is currently being carried out on integrating the new Laws into Premier League Disciplinary Regulations. These regulations can be interpreted by other County Boards and Leagues prior to the start of the season.

ECB and ECB ACO are touring the country on the following dates to showcase this new software alongside Play-Cricket’s existing products, demonstrating the value it’ll add to the recreational game.
